Malice first appeared as a special guest at NightGowns in 2015-2016, shortly after the show’s inception. She has since joined the cast regularly at National Sawdust, Abrons Art Center, and le poisson rouge. She appears in the NightGowns Forever 5 Year Anniversary digital show, and in 2021, she played the role of “Cherry Pulp” in NightGowns: the Musical, a 2-act drag spectacular written and directed by Sasha Velour set in 1966. She is featured in season one of NightGowns the series, Executive Produced by Sasha Velour and produced by The Documentary Group, which premiered on the streaming platform, Quibi, in April 2020. In 2021, the season one of NightGowns won the RealScreen Award for “Short Form Content, NonFiction,” and the episodes are now streaming on the Roku Channel. She is the resident “femmecee” of the award-winning Brooklyn drag collective Switch n’ Play and a frequent cast member of Sasha Velour’s drag revue, NightGowns. As a femmecee, she’s known for her quick wit, warm presence, and towering wigs. Inspired by the covers of lesbian pulp novels and the glamorous vampires and villains of 1960s B horror films, Malice combines elements queer history and culture, storytelling, and lip sync performance to explore queer femme identity onstage. She was the winner of the Brooklyn Nightlife Award for “Best Femmecee” in 2018, and she is featured alongside her fellow Switch n’ Play collective members in the feature-length documentary “A Night at Switch n’ Play,” which celebrated its world premiere at Toronto’s Inside Out Film Festival in 2019. Since 2017, with Switch n’ Play, she has produced VAMP: a celebration of all things queer, decadent, and bloodthirsty that draws inspiration from the may from the many lesbian vampire themed film adaptations of Sheridan le Fanu’s novella Carmilla. With Switch n’ Play, she’s performed at Lincoln Center, Bushwig, New York Live Arts, the Brooklyn Museum, and the New York Public Library. Switch n’ Play currently produces monthly show at Littlefield in Gowanus Brooklyn. Queer in every sense of the word, Switch n’ Play spans the gender spectrum in life and on stage. The collective’s impressive roster of artists includes K.James, Divina GranSparkle, Miss Malice, Nyx Nocturne, the Illustrious Pearl, Vigor Mortis, and Zoe Ziegfeld. The collective currently produces shows regularly at Littlefield in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Switch n' Play won "Best Burlesque Show" at the Brooklyn Nightlife Awards in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and has also been recognized in the "Best Drag Show" and "Hall of Fame" categories. The collective has been invited to perform at Lincoln Center, Sasha Velour's NightGowns, Bushwig, the New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Brooklyn Museum. Switch n’ Play is the subject of a 2019 feature documentary film, "A Night at Switch n' Play," directed by Cody Stickels and produced by Chelsea Moore.
